Enjoying what life hands me.  Living with Greers Ferry lake just down the street and the river a short drive.  Have been many places and had many different jobs.  I wake every day with a smile and laugh at almost anything.  Living with a woman who understands my ways and still loves me for them.  Sorry that I will not be attending anything but wish all of you well.

I am married to Charlotte, my best friend and love of my life for 43 years.  We live in Bella Vista, the very best part of Arkansas.  I was blessed to retire at 56 and began living for someone else other than my work.  We have one son and three wonderful grand-children who live in Oregon.  Retiring young allowed me to appreciate life and those around me. I am blessed with everything I need in this life. My days are filled with serving the Lord, golf, fishing, spending time with friends that I love dearly and trying to use my time helping someone else.  Even though we are close to Ft. Smith we rarely visit because our parents passed on and all of our friends live here.  50 years have passed quickly, it will be nice to see classmates of ’63.

I moved to Tulsa, Ok 3 years after graduation and have been there ever since. I married a boy working for a construction company working on the bridge over the river. After that job finished the company moved to Tulsa to build more bridges. After years of construction work he gave that up to work for a fixture company that made display fixtures. He joined the Army Guard in Van Buren while we were still in Ft. Smith I got to come back home once a month. He retired from the Guard after 25 years of service. After moving my mother up to Ok 10 years ago I have not gotten back to Ft. Smith very ofter. It has changed and grown so I don't know my way around. I had one son who I lost 2010. I have two wonderful grandkids. For fun we have 2 street rods that we have driven to many states to enter in car shows. We have so many trophies we had to move them to the garage. Still working full time. I have no plans for retirement as long as I can get up every morning. I enjoy working.

I am so excited to see everyone! Thanks sooo much to our classmates who put this all together...and so thoughtfully scheduled it so that out-of-town folks, like me, could include a couple of Razorback game in the trip.

I've been a bit busy over the last 50 years(50??yikes!)--2 marriages/divorces, 3 fabulous daughters, 5 vivacious granddaughters, 2 of the best jobs ever(grade school teacher 10yrs, hospice RN 30yrs), traveled coast to coast and have lived in 10 different states. My home base, now that I'm retired, is in Surprise, AZ where my youngest daughter and her daughter are. Summers are usually spent in WI where my other daughters and families are. Spring and fall are then open for trips back to AR for Razorback football, baseball, horse races in Hot Springs, and visiting with friends.

Life is good!!

Ft. Smith was my home for 71 years until I moved to Houston Texas in 2017 to be closer to my youngest daughter and her two children. It was a drastic change to drive on Rogers Ave in a town of 85,000 to driving on 290 in a town of 4 million, but God has kept me safe so far. I have two daughters, three granddaughters, one grandson, three great grandsons and one great granddaughter who are all my most treasured possessions. I love working in my church, visiting my children and grandchildren, working in my yard, and serving God in whatever way I'm needed. I'm praying I'll be able to join everybody at our 60th class reunion.

I married after graduation and had a baby girl in 1964. She is now 48 and has two sons-22 and 17 years old. I moved to Tulsa, Ok., and worked 6 years as a machinist. We then moved to Fort Worth, TX., and worked with my husband on route business. We divorce and I worked 3 years as a Quality Control inspector and 13 years as Auditor for Motorola. I remarried in 1978 and worked as executive secretary for the family owned business for 14 years. Due to my husband's ill health, I took early retirement to take care of Tommy and work on our farm with 5 step kids as helpers.

Accomplishments: Being more positive about oneself, more independent and   more out going.

Favorite memory from high school: Lunch-time with my girl friends.

Son and daughter; 5 granddaughters; in a wonderful relationship with Kathy Goodson, formerly of Charlotte. Lived in Boston and western Massachusetts most of adult life, enjoying New England culture and American history. In 2004, moved to a mountaintop in small rural community in western North Carolina mountains one hour NW of Asheville. Was in higher education administration most of my life, the last 10 years as a consultant to colleges/universites nationally.  Retired in 2011. Writing has been my prime interest the past 10 years: 11 books and related materials and 1 bi-weekly blog all on various spirituality topics; another bi-weekly blog on national social/political issues. Life is good. Sorry I will not be able to attend the reunion, as I am recovering from unexpected recent heart surgery. But compliments and thanks to all those who have organized the reunion events and this website for all their good and hard work.

Married for 42 years.  Three beautiful daughters; nine wonderful grandchildren with a great grandchild on the way.  I've been lucky to retire early (58) after working for Phillips Medical Systems and the Diagnostic Imaging service industry for 35 years.  My wife Ann & I moved last October to the Crystal Coast of East NC near the Outer Banks.  Woodworking has been my passion since retirement.  I plan to renew my golf game at our beach home now that we live in a golfing community.  Who knows, maybe with a little practice I might be able to break a "100"!  So far we are really enjoying the new way of life on the ocean coast.  So much to see and do!
