I attended the University of Arkansas, graduated with an English and History degree and obtained my Teaching Certification in 1967. Like many of us I chose a career in a totally different field. For the past 35 years I have been self employed. I started a business called "Suzy's Tole Shop"  and began teaching the art of tole painting and selling supplies and accessories to assist with each project. This has evolved into Suzy's Custom Frames & More. Most of my days are busy with my work; however, there is always time for Darby--she's my newly adopted Pointer hound.

U.S. Army veteran, retired attorney/accountant/nonprofit director. Returned to Arkansas in 2021 after over 2 decades on the "Left Coast" and desert SW. Spend much time with gardening, playing with and training our new Airedale Terrier puppy, photography, creative writing, reading, researching and writing about my ancestry, and road cycling. In a word, as busy as ever I was in my career pursuits. Happily married 55 years this October to "My Lovely" Linda. We have 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson scattered about the nation, all of whom are delightful and keep us young. We enjoy good health and the freedom to travel, engage our neighbors and community in work and fun, and visiting with our children and grandchildren as often as possible. My "spare" time is spent doing "handyman" work at home and as a volunteer in the neighborhood. I thoroughly enjoy staying in touch with NHS classmates, friends from the past who are friends forever in my heart. Would be happy to reconnect with you!

After a career in immigration law, I retired in 2012 and am enjoying everything that I missed, including finishing that morning cup of coffee at home and not in a "to-go" cup!  Have lived in LR since 1973 after living in Fayetteville, Albuquerque, and Havre-De-Grace Maryland.  Married to Marshall Pendergrass (class of '64) for 20+ years.  Currently in a committed relationship with Earl Weniger (NYC).  Between us, we have 3 children, Jon Pendergrass (LR), Cara Pendergrass (Boston MA), and Chase Weniger(deceased).  We have 3 grandchildren:  Victoria (U of A) and Lauren and Ryan (twins).  Haven't been to a reunion since the 20 year one and am looking forward to this one.  Earl's 50th reunion in Long Island NY is a week before ours!  We will be busy renewing friendships all across the country in September and October!

I've been an avid "antiquer" since 1967.  I , after owning a 8,000 sq.ft. antique shop for 30 years, now have a room in an antique mall, and go antiquing from AR to VA to AL.  I just did one thing on my bucket list.  When I was in Alaska I zip lined!  It was great fun, but the walk up the mountain about killed me.  I've gotten involved with the humane society and  I bowl.

In 1987 my husband started the King Bisquit Blues Festival, so we spend a lot of time with that.  We have gotten to be good friends wiith ZZ Top, Led Zepplin's Robert Plant, John Kay ( Steppenwolf), and the Kentucky Headhunters, to name a few.  I lead a fun and active life.

I attended Hendrix then the U of A.  After graduating I worked as a copy writer and model for Dillards.  Then worked as a commercial artist ( in the late 60s I did the Coca Cola and Dr Pepper bottle caps and cans)  I married in 1979 at age 34.

Sorry I won't be able to come to the reunion.  I wish you all a happy life!

After a short lived career as a "rock and roll star" I came to my senses and finished my education. BS in Business, BA in Economics, MBA Business. In 1970 I found a position with Hickory Springs Mfg. Company as a sales trainee. I retired from Hickory Springs in 2011 as Vice President of International Sales and Operations. I speak decent German (thanks Frau Wilkinson) some Italian, decent Spanish and a tiny amount of Chinese (cold beer, check please). I have two children, Alex Thayer and Becky McKnight, both married and residing in Little Rock, and two grandchildren, Riley Thayer and Grant Thayer. I have been married to Debi Thayer (Debi Harp) for 29 years.

I am presently retired but from time to time do International Consulting for some European Companies.
