I have lived in Independence, MO since 1966.  I graduated from UMKC with an MBA and spend most of my career at General Mills.  I have a daughter and 2 grandchildren.  I retired in 2007 and my husband passed away in 2009.  I'm not much of a hobby person but I do enjoy genealogy.  I love being retired and look forward to seeing everyone.

I went to Westark after high school, cramming 2 years into 3 and earning the Associates of Arts degree with Proficiency in Voice in 1966.  After that came marriage to Bob.  We stayed in Fort Smith until early 1976, then moved to Chattanooga, TN so Bob could finish college and seminary.  He graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in 1979, and seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1985, then took courses off and on toward a Doctor of Ministry degree which he finally received this past May (2013).   I had a career there as a legal secretary and bookkeeper for four wonderful Christian attorneys -- a job I thoroughly enjoyed.  I still keep in touch with two of those men and count them and their families as true friends.

Children never came on the scene, but we did acquire 3 dogs in Chattanooga and really enjoyed them.  Many college students also spent long hours in our house since we lived so close to campus. We often came home after work to find supper either well under way or on the table waiting for us which was a REAL blessing!  We still keep in touch with many of those ‘kids’ who are now scattered all over the world!

When we returned to Fort Smith in late 1991, I took another legal position here, while at the same time starting our own business.  I gave that up after 4 years so we could get the business further off the ground without my being stretched to the max!  It did ‘take off’, and has kept us going for the past 20 years.   Our daily lives now revolve around that business and the church where I am the organist and Bob helps with the Awana program.

I graduated from Hendrix College in 1967, moved to Texas in 1970, married in 1971, and our only child was born in 1975.  I returned to college and became an accountant.  I enjoyed a long career in ACCT/PR/HR management.  We are retired now and are struggling fans of Texas Ranger baseball, TCU football, and Dallas Stars Hockey.  I hope all of you enjoy your reunion!

The years have flown by and seeing classmates again of 63 will be a real blessing to all who can attend.  For those who cannot, the internet and our

website will let them be able to share.

PERSONAL...I am employed at Brown Hiller Clark Insurance for the past 15 years.  I am, of course, at retirement age, but, not choosing to as of yet.  I

am married and we live in Alma, Ar in the Eagle Crest area. I love my flowers,

fooling around on my keyboard, love music, reading, walking the Nature Trail

at Eagle Crest with our two dogs..and, we love to travel, when we can.  I was

fortunate to have both parents healthy into their 90's.  I have so many nieces and nephews and they all live in great places to visit. I am looking forward to seeing and visiting with my 63 classmates.  Making it this far is quite an accomplishment for all of us!!! C U soon.  Margaret
