Bertha Storment
2012-12-09Bertha Sue Storment, 67, of Alma, AR, passed from this life on December 9, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born November 8, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Bose and Luzelle Brown. She was a retired Bookkeeper from Dale Crampton Company and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Smith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Todd Rowland officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her husband James, son Chris and wife Bernadette of Alma, AR, sister-in-law LaBetha Cooper of Little Rock, AR and nieces Leslie Chambers of Little Rock, AR and Libby York of Tulsa, OK.

Bertha and I were married 47 years. She was my life partner, best friend and a devoted wife and mother. I miss her very much.
tribute by James StormentI remember Bertha well at Northside. We had accounting and shorthand classes together and she was a really sweet gal. Just in later years, we touched base again as she worked for Dale Crampton Company and I was at Brown Hiller Clark Insurance. She called in to BHC frequently, and we renewed our friendship over the phone calls re: insurance. M
