2006-05-01Cindy L. Hatfield
Cindy L. Hatfield, 61, passed away Monday, May 1, 2006. She was born in Fort Smith to Marvin and Mary Louise Jacobsen. Cindy was known for her love of life, kindness and accomp-lishments that will always be with us. No one had a laugh like Cindy’s, a special sparkle in her eyes, or a heart as large and full of love.
Loving wife of Sid with whom she spent 43 years of marriage. Devoted mother of daughters, Shelli Griffith and Jennifer Valdez; beloved son-in-law, Billy Griffith; and granddaughter, Madisson Valdez.
Cindy was a Life Master Bridge player and a volunteer at the Children Center in Utah, but Cindy was most proud of being a mother and grandmother. She will forever live in our hearts.
Service at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006, at Floral Haven Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK.
Started grade school with Cindy. I remember her at Duval so well. She sang a lot on the Saturday morning talent show that Ella Allen had on the radio. Cindy had a remarkable voice as a child. We were in awe of her. She was such a pretty little girl too. I have many memories of Duval School and Cindy is certainly one of those childhood friends that I remember so well.
