Susan Sneed
1977-12-11Winters, TX - Services for Gerald Wayne Sneed, 33, Linda Susan Sneed, 32, and son Shannon Lee, 5, all of Boerne who were killed in a plane crash between San Antonio and Kerrville Sunday night, December 11, 1977, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Fred Thomas, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Jack Taylor of San Antonio.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Sneed was born Nov. 3, 1944 in Winters and he graduated from Winters High School. He was a graduate of the Baylor Law School and a veteran of the Air Force. He lived in San Antonio and Waco prior to moving to Boerne. He was a member of Alamo City Bible Church in SanAntonio. He was an attorney and had a law office in San Antonio.
Mrs. Sneed was born Linda Susan Parr Jan 1, 1945, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a graduate of Baylor University.
Shannon was born in 1972 in San Antonio.

Suzi and I were best friends in the 6th and 7th grades. We both went to First Baptist Church. We took piano lessons from the same teacher and got to play some duets in church. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was taken from us much too soon. It still makes me sad to think of her losing her life in that awful plane crash.
