I first met Nancy in study hall when we were both Seniors.  She sat right in front of me and I pestered her a lot because she was taking German and I was taking Spanish.  She never could understand why I called her " Herman the German".  It was mainly because I was so shy I just couldn't  make mystelf ask her for a date.  I have always regretted that.  She was a very sweet girl and had a GREAT smile.
