Dorothy "Dotty" Peters

68, of Fort Smith died in Tulsa on October 25, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born March 6, 1945, in Fort Smith to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Henderson.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Baty of Dallas and Kathy Bondy and her husband Rick of Tulsa; granddaughter, Sara Bondy of Norman, Okla.; sister, Linnah Schoen of St. Paul, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Katie Smithson.
Dotty was a longtime resident of Fort Smith. Dotty was an avid reader and loved her dog, Maggie.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Fort Smith.
Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
