Sondra Sue "Suzy" Stosberg passed away in the early afternoon of January 17, 2023, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born to Charles and Hazel Clyma Stosberg on March 9, 1945 in Sarasota County, FL. Suzy was active in the May-Lecta-Sweet Neighborhood association, and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Suzy graduated from Northside High School and then from the University of Arkansas with a degree in English and History. She then earned her teaching certification and especially enjoyed her time as a teacher at St. Anne's Academy. Her career then took a different direction when she established Suzy's Tole Shop, where she taught tole painting and sold painting supplies and wood pieces for painting. She also taught a loyal group of painters every Monday night for almost 20 years, fittingly named "Monday night paint class." In 1990, she published "Seasonal Sweatshirts," which she dedicated to her parents and thanked them for "never suggesting that I should be teaching school instead of painting sweatshirts." Suzy traveled often with her painting pals to attend workshops in many states, to keep up with current trends, and because she truly enjoyed painting. Before she retired, she owned and operated Suzy's Arts & Frames.
