Janice Lee Haskins

1945-04-03 2013-04-10
Janice Lee Haskins, 68, of Fort Smith lost her brave battle with cancer on April 10,2013, in her home with her daughters by her side. She was born April 3, 1945 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Jesse and Mary Perry. She retired from Sparks after 30 years as a registered nurse.  Janice is survived by her two daughters, Alana West and Teresa Tucker-West, both of Fort Smith; one brother, David Perry of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Jacob Yount of Camp Lejune, N.C. and Priscilla and husband Rusty Teasdale of Conway; and not to forget her grandcats, whom she loved very very much, Zulu, Ziggy, and Willie.

It is so wonderful to know that there is a page created to remember your classmates that have passed on before you. Mom was so looking forward to coming to this reunion but the Lord had another reunion planned for her instead. Mom was a truly amazing woman and anyone who knew her was a better person for it. She had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She loved her kids, grandkids and her great grandson who all miss her terribly. She had many memories of her school years here in Fort Smith I know she would want us to say enjoy your time together at this reunion and value the time together because you never truly know how much time you have together on this earth.
