After receiving a degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas, I married Jon Newsum [class of 1962]. We left Arkansas for 11 years and returned to Little Rock in 1981. We are fortunate that both of our daughters and their families live close to us.  I enjoy spending time with two grandsons and one granddaughter and if I have any energy left I love to garden.  My new interest is genealogy. What fun! Hope to see many of you at the reunion.

Married to my best friend for 46+ years. Have a daughter and son and 1 grand child that is a year old.  Kimber comes to work everyday with her mother ( daughter in law) and pretty well runs the place.

Kimber give me plenty of reasons to slow down and play with her everyday.

 

Our son Brent and I have a Trailer Company together and we are still in the air conditioning business ( 40 years).

Enjoy our 60th reunion!  We still are enjoying our beautiful Washington State where I have lived and worked for 45 years.  I retired from Sno-Isle Libraries as the Human Resources Director in 2012. Last year I traveled to Italy, but fell in Sorrento on the second day of the tour.  I was shipped back home and have been working on recovery of a broken shoulder.  This year Paul and I will be river-cruising on the Mosel and Rhine Rivers. Hoping for rivers high enough to float on!

When Sherry and I married, 15 years ago, I was living in Tulsa and was a regional publisher of a number of papers in the Tulsa area.  We transfered to Port Arthur, TX and did a lot of off shore fishing, that was a real adventure.  We moved to Mena in 2001 where I am publisher of 5 papers in Arkansas.  We have 2 grand babies we are crazy about and have a good life living in the Ouachita mountains.

After attending Tulsa University, I earned a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Baylor University. I practiced dental hygiene for 43 years and was finally able to retire in 2010. I lived and worked in Dallas before John and I married. We have been in Tulsa the last 43 years, after spending 11 years in Kansas City. We have two girls, two wonderful sons-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren ages 16-23. All of them grew up in the Tulsa area, so we stayed busy going to all kinds of activities for them. They played tennis, soccer, football, basketball, baseball and softball, and band, among other activities! They are my greatest joy and I love spending time with them. I look forward to seeing those of you who can attend the reunion.

I've been married to Harold Walter Peacock, Jr. for 49 years. We have two children, Claire and Clint. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1981 with a nursing degree. Harold is a Chaplin;and after 30 years as a RN I'm now enjoying retirement.
