I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1967.  Richard and I were married in 1965 and have been married for 48 years.  We have three sons (and three wonderful daughters-in-law) and nine grandchildren (5 boys and 4 girls) ages 12 years to 18 months.

After graduating from the university, Richard and I moved to Ft. Hood, TX, where Richard was a commissioned officer in the Army for two years.  In 1971 Richard went to work for Exxon, and I followed him around the US teaching school, teaching piano lessons, and raising our family.

We lived in the Houston area (Humble) for 21 years where the boys spent the majority of their school years. While we were there, I attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, and received my Master's in Counseling and became a Middle School Counselor. We spent the last seven years of our careers in Northern Virginia in the DC area. We took full advantage of seeing the sights in and around DC and enjoying our nation's capital.  It was a wonderful experience for both of us.

We reitired in 2006 and moved to the Dallas area (McKinney) where two of our boys and their families live. Lee is our oldest and has four children.  They live in Allen just a few minutes from our house.  Brian, our youngest, has two children, and his family lives in Keller about an hour away. Scot, our middle son, has three children, and they live in the Nashville area.

Richard and I have traveled quite a bit since we have retired.  Two of my favorite trips were a Mediterranean cruise and a trip to Israel. We have also been to Disneyland three times with our children and grandchildren!!!

I am involved now with Bible studies, church choir, gardening, reading and playing with my fabulous, beautiful grandchildren. I look forward to seeing my classmates at our reunion.

Attended U of Oklahoma for 2 years before marrying my high school sweetheart, Mary Oldham, in 1965 and graduating from the U of Arkansas in 1967. Served 2 years active duty with the 1st Armored Division at Ft. Hood, TX returning to the U of Arkansas to complete an MBA. Joined  Humble Oil Co.,which became Exxon and then ExxonMobil, in 1971 retiring in 2006 after 35 years.  Mary and I have been blessed with 3 great sons, 3 wonderful daughters-in-law, and 9 precious grandchildren. We now live in McKinney, TX.  In addition traveling with Mary and playing with grandchildren, I serve as a chaplain with Victim Relief Ministries, a faith based ministry to crime and disaster victims, and also volunteer with Texas Baptist Men in Disaster Relief and with the McKinney Police Department as a Citizen On Patrol and chaplain.

Married to Diane Ahrens for 42 years.  Two terrific children and two just as terrific grandsons.  Moved to Little Rock after graduating from UofA.  Worked in banking for 16 years except for 2 years spent as Director of Finance for an aluminum company in Cairo, Egypt.  Started a mortgage banking company with my partner in 1983.  Currently a director and consultant for a bank in Little Rock.  No retirement plans.  Fun for me is playing golf and turning wood.

I have been married 49 years to my best friend, Stephen.  We like to travel and work in the yard and spend as much time as possible with our two daughters and our grandchildren, one girl and four boys.

I retired from ABF Freight System, Inc. in December 2010 where I was a superviser of Corporate Facilities.  We have a small catering company and enjoy meeting new people and preparing meals for different occasions.

I am looking forward to our 50th Class Reunion.

I've been happily married to Art Rainwater for 47 years.  Over that time we've lived in Fort Smith, Dallas, Birmingham, Kansas City, and for the last 19 years in Madison, Wisconsin.  We love Madison!  It's just right for us.  I taught for 33 years and retired in 2008.  Art's retirement lasted one month and since then he's been a professor at the University of Wisconsin.  We love to travel - especially in Europe, follow the Badgers and Packers, and I play Mah Jongg (the real game, not on a computer) when I'm not with the grandchildren.  We have two wonderful daughters, two great sons-in-law, and four precious grandchildren aged 15 years to 4 months.  It's been a great life since Northside.  Wish I could see you all, but we'll be traveling in California then.

Comment: Retired.  What does that mean, anyway?  Life has been good.  I have been married to my current husband for over 7 years after having been single for 23 years after a divorce.

Pete and I are remodeling a 110 year old house, including the yard.  Our ministy is teaching children and adults at our church.  Collectively we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren, none of which live nearby.  Our friends have become our family.

My career as Director of Missions and Evangelism ended in 2010. I married Pete in 2011 and I joined him directors of a christian adult conference and retreat center (Oaks Manor Conference and Retreat Center) in Van Buren.  We sold that in 2015.   Our current home is an opportunity for us to minister to others.
