My husband, Powell and I are retired. I was the secretary for his insurance business. We have a son and daughter, between us, and 3 grandchildren. We love to travel and do so in a motorhome and on a 2009 Honda Goldwing. We started a 30 day journey, on the bike, May 6. As I write this, on May 8, we are in Salida, CO. Our destination, before starting home, is Seattle, WA.

I met Sneezy, my husband of almost 48 years(!), in Fayetteville. After college, he pursued a career in medicine, then we moved to Jonesboro, AR. 38 years ago. We raised our 3 adult sons here, and God blessed us with a GIRL!!-our granddaughter, Shelby, 13 , who we adopted as an infant. We also have a granddaughter, age 17 . I like to garden, cook, & try & stay active & physically fit. We spend as many weekends as possible at our little farm in the foothills of the Ozarks-where we raise mostly rocks! We think of ourselves as stewards of this peaceful place. Since I've already jumped out of a perfectly good airplane,I'd like to go on an African safari someday.

Met and married my wife Nancy in Miami, Fla in 1969. We have three children, five grand children and three great grand children with number four on the way. After serving 8 years in the military with one year in Vietnam, I got out, moved back to Ft. Smith and entered the electrical construction industry. We relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1982. Retired from the IBEW LU#20 in 2009. It's been a great life and a greater retirement. Nancy and I enjoy serving in our church, Duncanville First Baptist Church. Most of my spare time is spent in my woodworking shop. Love the smell of fresh cut hardwood, the whirring of a saw and the hum of a router. It's wonderful therapy.

Wow! 50 years, unbelievable. A few things since 1963 have been: Attended Westark Junior College, Graduated from Arkansas Tech University, moved to Irving, Texas where I was offered my first full time job as a Park Planner for the City of Irving. I then moved to Grand Prairie as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation and then as Director of P&R. During that period I got married to Jane Anne Jenkins of El Paso and received a Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I retired from municipal government in 2004 and then worked for a golf course architect for eight years. Lastly, I was a supervisor for the new TSA at DFW airport. We have one daughter Erin, who is 21 and a senior at Texas A&M University. She will graduate in the Fall 2014 with a triple major. She is totally unlike her dad when it comes to smarts. She would like to work for one of those three letter agencies like the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. after receiving her masters degree. We enjoy playing golf, traveling, going to A&M games in our motorhome, and just hangin' out. |

WOW, 50 years!!! Like so many of you, I wonder where has it gone? Well, 45 of those years, I have been married to my husband, Con. Being a military wife, this had us moving from coast to coast for several years, also spending some time overseas.
After retiring from the USMC, we settled in Texas where we raised our two sons, and pursued our careers. Mine being co-owner of an interior plant and design company that has been in continuous business for 35 years. Fast forward, we are both now retired living a great life on Lake Granbury. I spend my time being active in my church and many local charities. I love gardening, playing poker with "the girls", reading (in a book club), cooking and entertaining. And, of course, spending as much time as possible with our six awesome grandchildren!! |

My parents moved my senior year and I actually graduated high school at Tulsa Edison High School. However, I have always considered I graduated in spirit with NSHS Class of 1963. After high school I attended UofA but in my junior year I joined the Army. I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. I served a tour of duty in Viet Nam and was wounded. I was transferred to a hospital in San Antonio and was retired as a First Lieutenant. In San Antonio I met my wife, Sylvia. I finished college at St. Mary's University in San Antonio with a BA in Accounting. I went to work for Price Waterhouse & Co. in Houston in the tax department as a CPA. I was with PWC for six years and left in 1977 as a Tax Manager and moved to Oklahoma City to go in partners with my uncle in the hotel business. In 1983 I started my own hotel company, Southern Hospitality, Inc. We have owned and operated hotels across the country. In 2000 I was the Chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Sylvia and I have been married 43 years and have two children and three grandchildren. I still remain active in the hotel businees.

I've stayed in Fort Smith most of my life with my wife, Becky, of 42 years. We have 2 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. I was a printer with Transkrit Corp. for 22 years, then finished my career as a Sound Systems consultant and did systems commissioning and training. I'm presently retired and very much looking forward to seeing you all at the big 50 year reunion.
