Johnny Lee Hartsfield 78, of Hot Springs village passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24th, 2023.

He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on April 23, 1945. John lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched many lives along the way. John retired from a 30 year career in the elecrical business.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; one brother, Bruce Hartsfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John, Jr. and Bob, both of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Haley, Zac, Shawn, Reid, Lauren, Alec; and four great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger, loved to play golf, traveling around the world, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and he always had a smile on his face.  A private family service will be held at a later date.   Published December 29th, 2023.

Karen Kreipke, 59, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in Bentonville.  She was a planning coordinator for Hiram Walker and a member of St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church.


 


Funeral will be 1 P.M. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  The body will be cremated.


 


She is survived by her husband, Don; three daughters, Traci Foster of Broken Arrow, OK, Katheryn Kreipke of Fort Smith and Leslie Shewmaker of Bentonville; a sister, Gail Graham of Fort Smith; a brother, Alan Shiflette of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.

Neal Sisk

Neal E. Sisk, 74, of Mansfield went to his heavenly home on Feb. 10, 2020. Neal was born Oct. 4, 1945, in Fort Smith, the son of Earl N. and Essie Melle Sisk. Neal was in the Air National Guard for six years and worked for Whirlpool for 42 years, until his retirement in 2007. He retired to spend more time with his family, grandbabies and great-grandbabies. He loved his family and they loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Earl Sisk.

He is survived by his wife of 52 year...

Thomas E. Storey, 67, of Hot Springs died Friday, August 2, 2013. He was born May 19, 1946, in Fort Smith. He was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Army Engineers, former pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Hot Springs, held a masters of Bible exposition, and bachelor's degrees in criminal justice and pastoral theology. He is survived by his wife, Sally; five daughters, Chloe Smith, Rachel Villatoro, Rebeka Diaz, Hannah Yelisetty and Ruthie Witcher; a son, Benjamin Storey III; three sisters, Claudia Crouch, Bonnie Sizemore, and Marilyn Trotter; two brothers, Eddie and Charles Storey and nine grandchildren.
