Johnny Lee Hartsfield 78, of Hot Springs village passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24th, 2023.
He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on April 23, 1945. John lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched many lives along the way. John retired from a 30 year career in the elecrical business.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; one brother, Bruce Hartsfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John, Jr. and Bob, both of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Haley, Zac, Shawn, Reid, Lauren, Alec; and four great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger, loved to play golf, traveling around the world, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and he always had a smile on his face. A private family service will be held at a later date. Rosamond Ann Hicks Sain, 70, of Ft. Smith died Friday, July 17, 2015, in a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 5, 1944 in Greenwood. She was a self-employed housekeeper for several local families and a member of Ft. Smith Christian Center.
Funeral will be 10 AM Wednesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by four daughters, Tresa Wilkins and Elsie Green, both of Ft. Terry W. Hite, aged 78 years, of Aitkin, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short but agressive fight with Pancreatic Cancer on March 16th, 2023.
A gathering of friends and family was held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 4-6 pm at First Lutheran Church, 107 2nd St.SE, Aitkin, MN 56431 with a memorial service on Monday March 20th, 2023 from 11-12 followed by a luncheon at the church.
Terry was born 2/18/1945 in Orlando, FL., being in a military (Army) family, he moved to many places around the world throughout his amazing life, from places like Germany, Tennessee, New Mexico, Arkansas and finally Minnesota. He was an Army man himself.

Carol Anne Moss, 78, of Arkoma passed away on Saturday September 2, 2023 in her home. She was born February 19, 1945 in Fort Smith to Louis and Geraldine (Gates) Hoffman. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years.
