Johnny Lee Hartsfield 78, of Hot Springs village passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24th, 2023.
He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on April 23, 1945. John lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched many lives along the way. John retired from a 30 year career in the elecrical business.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; one brother, Bruce Hartsfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John, Jr. and Bob, both of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Haley, Zac, Shawn, Reid, Lauren, Alec; and four great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger, loved to play golf, traveling around the world, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and he always had a smile on his face. A private family service will be held at a later date. John Allen Pigg, 71, of Mulberry died Sunday, May 29, 2016. He was born Feb. 13, 1945 in Mulberry. He was an industrial electrician at Whirlpool, president of District 3 Volunteer Fire Department, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the 71 Freewill Baptist Church.
His funeral will be noon Saturday at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma with burial at Pope Cemetery with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; a son, Keith Pigg of Mulberry; a sister, Rita Anderson of Columbia MO; a brother, Bobby Pigg of Melburne, and six grand-
children.
