Johnny Lee Hartsfield 78, of Hot Springs village passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24th, 2023.

He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on April 23, 1945. John lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched many lives along the way. John retired from a 30 year career in the elecrical business.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; one brother, Bruce Hartsfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John, Jr. and Bob, both of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Haley, Zac, Shawn, Reid, Lauren, Alec; and four great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger, loved to play golf, traveling around the world, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and he always had a smile on his face.  A private family service will be held at a later date.   Published December 29th, 2023.

He was born September 20, 1943, in Fort Smith where he lived all his life. Bill was the owner of Hallsted Inc.  He was a licensed Mechanical Contractor in Plumbing, Electrical, Heat/ Air (HVAC).  He was also the owner of Hallsted Properties. He taught classes in Plumbing School in the past. He was a Christian & attended First Baptist Church, Fort Smith.
