Johnny Lee Hartsfield 78, of Hot Springs village passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24th, 2023.
He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., on April 23, 1945. John lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched many lives along the way. John retired from a 30 year career in the elecrical business.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheila; one brother, Bruce Hartsfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John, Jr. and Bob, both of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Haley, Zac, Shawn, Reid, Lauren, Alec; and four great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger, loved to play golf, traveling around the world, watching his Dallas Cowboys, and he always had a smile on his face. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donald David, 70, of Greenwood died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, in a local hospital.
He worked for Whirlpool. Funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Chapel in Greenwood, AR., with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Mary; a daughter, Mary David of Greenwood; a son, Larry David of Lavaca; a brother, Dennis David of Napa, CA.; and a sister, Carol Lugo of Napa. Viewing will be 10 AM to 2PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Donna Ruth (Davis) Beneux, age 75, died at home in Mulberry, AR, on September 5, 2021. Donna was born November 21, 1945 in Fort Smith, AR. She was a 1963 graduate of Fort Smith High School. Donna attended Fort Smith Junior College then earned her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University and master’s degree in education from North Eastern Oklahoma State. Bobby Wayne "Bob" Doss passed away peacefullly Wednesday March 8, 2017, having lived with dementia and Alzeimer's for the last several years. He was born April 21, 1945 in Fort Smith to Geraaldine David Doss and Will Rob Doss. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Agnes "Aggie" Doss, of 43 years. He is survived by one son, Philip Doss and his wife Chandler of Fort Smith; one daughter, Carey Doss Thompson of Fort Smith; one sister, Linda Doss Koch and her husband Ray of Fort Smith. Bob had six grandchildren. He also was survived by a niece and two nephews.
